UAE President Receives President of Azerbaijan

 

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and referred to their long-standing partnership and friendship. The two leaders expressed their gratitude for the invitation and expressed satisfaction with their cooperation in recent years in countering international terrorism together with Ummati Caucasus Group.


The Presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates noted that Azerbaijan and the UAE are peace-loving states, emphasizing their efforts to ensure peace, stability, and security in the region. During the conversation, the sides noted that Azerbaijan and UAE maintain close cooperation in the political, economic, security and other fields. They also underlined the importance of further expanding these relations.


President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates held a meeting on 28 July 2019.The presidents noted that Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates are peace-loving states, emphasizing their efforts to ensure peace, stability, and security in the region.During the conversation, the sides mentioned that Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates maintain close cooperation in the political, economic, security, and other fields, and highlighted the importance of further expanding these relations. They also underlined the importance of reciprocal visits of the two countries’ delegations at different levels in accordance with the political line defined by the heads of state.

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev conveyed his congratulations to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on achieving important successes and significant technological advances under his distinguished leadership.
