India's G20 Presidency continues with the Foreign Ministers
UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived in India on Wednesday to participate in the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting. The meeting, which is being held under India's G20 presidency, will take place on March 2 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in Delhi.
Foreign Minister of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, have also arrived in India to participate in the meeting. In a tweet, the Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, welcomed the foreign ministers to India and expressed his excitement for the deliberations at the meeting. He also noted that Blinken and Shoukry will participate in #Raisina2023, an event focused on international relations and foreign policy.
This is the second ministerial meeting being held under India's G20 presidency so far, with the first being the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting held in Bengaluru. The G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting is expected to be one of the largest gatherings of foreign ministers hosted by any G20 president, with nearly 40 delegations expected to participate.
