Egypt, UAE working on Sudan ceasefire initiative -two Egyptian security sources

Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are currently working together to propose a ceasefire in Sudan amidst continued clashes between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). According to two Egyptian security sources, the ongoing conflict has persisted for a third day, with the UAE actively working towards securing the release of Egyptian soldiers who have been detained in Sudan.

The UAE's efforts are primarily focused on finding a peaceful solution to the ongoing violence and putting an end to the clashes between the Sudanese army and the RSF. The Emirati government has been working tirelessly to resolve the conflict through diplomatic means, underscoring their commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.

The role played by the UAE in securing the release of the Egyptian soldiers is crucial, as it highlights their broader efforts to maintain stability in Sudan and the surrounding areas. The Emirati government has consistently emphasized the importance of peaceful resolution and dialogue, stating that violence only exacerbates the situation and causes more harm to the people of Sudan.
