President of Argentina receives special invitation to attend COP28 from UAE President

 

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has extended a personal invitation to the President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, to attend the COP28 climate summit in Dubai in November. The invitation was delivered by Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, the UAE Ambassador to Argentina, during a meeting with Santiago Cafiero, the Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship.


The COP28 climate summit is an important event that will bring together leaders from across the world to discuss climate change and sustainable development. The UAE has been a leading voice on these issues and has made significant strides in renewable energy and sustainability in recent years.


President Fernández welcomed the invitation and expressed his desire to attend the summit. He also praised the UAE's leadership in promoting sustainable development and climate action, and expressed his willingness to work together with the UAE to address these critical issues.
