Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Nikos Dendias discuss bilateral cooperation

 

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, recently visited the Hellenic Republic and held a meeting with the Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. The meeting was aimed at discussing the bilateral relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.


During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Nikos Dendias reviewed various aspects of bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to enhance it further. They emphasized the need for cooperation in areas such as economic, trade, investment, development, renewable energy, and food security.

Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening the economic ties between the UAE and Greece. They highlighted the importance of enhancing trade and investment relations, exploring new opportunities for investment, and increasing the exchange of visits between businessmen from both countries. Sheikh Abdullah and Nikos Dendias also discussed the possibility of establishing joint investment funds and holding business forums and exhibitions.


The two sides also reviewed the progress of ongoing joint projects in various sectors, including renewable energy, infrastructure, and tourism. They underscored the importance of strengthening these projects and developing new ones that could contribute to the sustainable development of both countries.
