UAE President sends written letter to Emir of Kuwait

 

Resident His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has recently sent a letter to H.H. Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to express his appreciation for the strong and deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Kuwait. The letter also contained an invitation for the Emir to attend the upcoming COP28 event, which will be hosted by the UAE in November of this year.

The UAE and Kuwait have long maintained a close relationship, with strong cooperation across various fields, including business, education, and culture. This relationship is further strengthened by the cultural and historical similarities shared by the two nations. The letter from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan serves as a testament to the importance that both nations place on their enduring friendship.


The letter was delivered by Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, during a meeting with H.H. Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, at Dar Al-Yamama Palace. During the meeting, Dr. Al Neyadi emphasized the significance of enhancing the ties between the UAE and Kuwait in line with the vision of the leadership of both countries.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Minister of Emiri Diwan Affairs, and retired Lieutenant General Jamal Mohammad Al-Thiyab, Director of the Office of H.H. the Crown Prince. The attendance of these dignitaries serves as a demonstration of the mutual respect and admiration between the two nations.
