US Thanks UAE for Help in Evacuating American Citizens from Sudan

 

The United States of America has expressed its gratitude towards the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its valuable participation in ongoing diplomatic efforts and support in helping American citizens leave Sudan. This comes amidst the current political turmoil and unrest in the country.


The U.S. team has been welcoming American citizens arriving in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from Sudan and extending all necessary assistance to ensure their safety and security. The U.S. embassy in Sudan has been working closely with the UAE and Saudi Arabia to facilitate the evacuation of U.S. citizens and their family members from Sudan.


A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department stated that the safety and security of U.S. citizens overseas is their top priority, and they are working diligently to assist those in need. The U.S. government has urged all U.S. citizens in Sudan to remain vigilant and monitor @TravelGov for the latest guidance on the situation.
